November general election ballot vacancies still left to fill!

Deadline to file: 12 noon on July 6, 2026.

There's still time to run for office in November! Randolph County Democrats ... HELP! We can't win if we don't run, and in elections across the country since 2025, Republicans ONLY win when there are no Democrats running. That's right! Thanks to the chaos coming from the White House, in upwards of 90% of special elections that have happened since early last year, whenever a Democrat runs, Republicans LOSE. So PLEASE consider running!

The Commissioner, County Council, Township Trustees, Township Board, and School Board members really only meet once a month ... Surely you can do that! Please contact Chairman Tito Farias if you are open to considering running for one of these offices. The deadline to file is in early July.

Delegate to the Democratic State Convention

There is also one more vacancy for a Delegate to the Democratic State Convention in Indianapolis. This is a one-day engagement: you must be available to represent Randolph County Democrats ALL day on Saturday June 6th at the Democratic State Convention. Please contact Chairman Tito Farias if you can do this.

Randolph County will be sending 9 delegates. 4 are automatic: they are the Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Randolph County Democrats. 5 candidates filed to run on the primary ballot and since they are uncontested, per Indiana law and practice, they did not appear on the primary ballot. However, one of the candidates who filed was later elected to replace the Vice-Chair, who resigned for personal reasons earlier this year, leaving a vacancy. We hope YOU will consider filling that vacancy and representing us!
